-- Good morning, pupils! How are you ? - So today we are going to speak about Great Britain, you’ ll find some interesting facts about the UK.

1 Reading. The United Kingdom

a)The United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland  is situated on islands to the north-west of Europe.

b)The UK consists of four parts — England, Scotland, Wales and Nothern Ireland.

c)The capital of the UK is London. It stands on the Thames  River.  The longest river in Great Britain is the Severn.

d)The flag of the UK is made up of three crosses. It is red, white and blue. The English call their flag "the Union Jack" because it unites flags of all parts of the UK.

e)The highest mountain of the UK is Ben Nevis. It is in Scotland.

f)  British money is called pounds and their coins are pence.

g)People of the UK keep their traditions. There is still the Queen in the country. She is the head of the United Kingdom.

h)I have learnt the Englishmen are great home lovers, and have their own house. I have heard that the British  are very polite people.

Guten Tag, liebe Kinder! ! Wir beginnen unsere Stunde! Wie geht es dir?

Unser heutiges Thema heiβt “Ostern”.

Heute sprechen wir über Ostertraditionen in Deutschland und in der Ukraine. Wir werden die Lexik zum Thema „Ostern“ lernen, den Text lesen. Man feiert Ostern in der Ukraine wie in Deutschland im Frühling . Im Frühling beginnt alles zu blühen und feiern alle Leite dieses Fest.

Die  wichtigsten  Ostersymbole  in  Deutschland  sind
